Women's Waxing for Satin Smooth Skin
For a successful wax service, there must be at least 1/8-1/4" hair growth (for some, that means 2-3 weeks growth). Acutane use, laser or chemical peels must have been completed 30 or more days prior to any waxing service. If you are using Retin A, Renova or any other aggressive topical agents, we strongly suggest a consultation with one of our Aestheticians before booking a facial waxing appointment. We suggest avoiding the sun, hot baths, saunas, abrasives and deodorant for the first twelve hours after waxing.

Teen Facial
This facial introduces teens to proper skin care. It includes a deep pore cleansing, steam, exfoliation, extractions, a customized mask, and the recommended regime to follow at home to maintain healthy skin. Teens will leave with 2 products to take home for follow up care.
Acne Facial
This facial treatment is formulated for the oily and problematic skin type or those with hormonal breakouts in mind. This facial will use targeted products to balance and calm the skin. The Spirulina mask and Recovering Ampoule used in this facial will balance oil secreations, eliminate skin impurities, stimulate tissue regeneration, detoxify skin and smoothe out stress and age related lines.
Back Facial
We thoroughly cleanse, exfoliate and extract hard to reach areas. This service is scheduled for 50-55 minutes depending on each client's needs.
Anti Aging Facial
A natural approach to skin care designed to restore, brighten and protect you from free-radical damage. This facial is designed to combat the signs of sun damage and premature aging. This facial will use products designed to encourage cell turnover and fight free radical damage. We use a specialized Vitamin C mask and Lifting Ampoule to deliver optimal results by promoting collagen synthesis, lifting and firming effects, detoxification and smoothing of stress and age related lines. this facial uses a vitamin C formula you won't find in any other treatment.
Hydrating Facial
Those with sensitive or dehydrated skin will greatly benefit from this facial. During this facial we will use targeted products to sooth and hydrate the skin including our Extreme Hydration mask and Oxygen Ampoule which encourages vascular constriction to calm flushed and irritated skin, prevents blood vessel fragility by strengthening the capillaries, stimulates blood circulation and smoothes stress and age related lines. Microdermabrasion
The DERMAGLOW particle skin exfoliation treatment is ideal for both men and women seeking to turn back the effects of time desiring healthy, younger-looking skin. This treatment is for people who are unwilling or unable to undergo existing laser or chemical treatments due to high cost, potential side effects, discomfort, and/or long recovery period.
DERMAGLOW delivers a controlled stream of microcrystals over the skin through a special hand piece. By gently polishing the skin and removing dead skin cells, oils and other buildup, it is possible to improve many skin conditions and the imperfections that lead to premature aging. Because Microdermabrasion has an accumulative effect, a series of treatments is recommended to achieve optimal results. This treatment is further enhanced when followed by the Oxygen Facial.
Because Microdermabrasion cannot be used by everyone, it is necessary to have a complimentary consultation prior to having these services being done.
Facial Peels
Peels are basically an accelerated form of exfoliation induced by the use of an AHA (glycolic) agent or a chemical agent. Very light and moderate peels induce a faster sloughing of the cells in the stratum corneum where as deeper peeling agents create necrosis (kills tissue) in the skins deeper layers.
Because deeper peels involve greater risk of complication and longer recovery time, our goal is to create as little tissue damage as possible while inducing as much new tissue formation as possible. This is the concept behind repetitive superficial and medium depth peels. They have low risk, but create cumulative benefits that far exceed the results of just one deep peel.
The skin changes that you can expect with our peels are an increase of elastin and collagen production; the thickening, strengthening and firming of the epidermis and the acceleration of cellular exfoliation. Because these peels cannot be used by everyone, it is necessary to have a complimentary consultation prior to having these services being done.

Massage
When receiving a massage or body treatment, keep the following suggestions in mind. Before you receive your session, it is a good idea not to eat any large or heavy meals, sugar, caffeine or other stimulants. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your treatment time as we require certain medical information prior to your service. Your therapist may assess any problem areas by observing your posture, checking for restricted or painful movement and gently pressing for tender areas. Please inform the therapist if you are pregnant or have any illnesses, injuries or conditions of which we should be aware.
Your session will be administered in a comfortable and private environment. Your therapist will ask you to disrobe in private and drape yourself with a sheet or towel as provided. We recommend that you undress to your level of comfort. The only area of your body that will be uncovered during your session will be the area your therapist is working on at that time. If there are any areas you would prefer not to include in your session, be sure to let your therapist know. Be sure to inform your therapist of anything that distracts from your comfort such as your position or lighting, etc. or if at anytime during your session you experience any pain, discomfort or uneasiness or any sort. Closing your eyes and breathing deeply will enhance your relaxation and enjoyment.

Are you a runner?
According to the November 2010 issue of Runners World magazine, you should see a therapist weekly to help relieve muscular tightness. Regular massage addresses issues immediately, rather than having them develop over time. The ideal time to schedule one is 24-36 hours after a hard workout. If you have a race coming up, schedule a massage at least four days prior to your event. A light (Swedish) massage postrace can feel good but once race-induced muscle soreness has subsided (two to six days), a deep tissue (Therapeutic) massage can help release tension.
Swedish Massage - Relaxation Massage
This traditional, flowing massage is the most common form of relaxation massage. It consists of long, gliding strokes as well as gentle kneading of tissues for basic relaxation. It is most appropriate for those who relax best with light to moderate pressure.
Therapeutic Massage - Deep Tissue Massage
Therapeutic massage involves slow, sustained pressure where it is most needed to facilitate the release of tension. Areas of hyper-irritation, called trigger points, are focused upon for removal of chronic spasm and tightness. This firm massage combines a wide variety of techniques to target chonic muscle tension. Many enjoy the intensity and beneficial muscular releases specific to this approach. This massage is most appropriate for those who are physically overworked or who simply need extra pressure to release their tension patterns.
Shiatsu Massage - NEW
Shiatsu is a form of acupressure that originated over 200 years ago in Japan. It is now used worldwide to manage pain and maintain health. It employs gentle and rhythmic pressure on acupressure points and pathways extending over the body.
Shiatsu differs from western massage in that it is performed without lotions or oils. The client if fully dressed in loose clothing for the session. Shiatsu allows the Therapist to stretch and loosen muscles and connective tissue which improves blood flow to the heart and the movement of lymph fluid throughout the body. Oxygen and other nutrients then move more freely to reach cells and tissue. A relaxing and revitalizing experience is the result for the body, mind and spirit.

Your first Shiatsu session will last approximately 90 minutes and includes a full 60 minute session and evaluation. You should wear loose, comfortable clothing to allow for stretching and movement. You will remain fully clothed at all times.
For any of our clients who come in for massage once a month or more; ask about special massage package pricing. Packages are designed to be used within a 4 month period and could save you upwards of $85.
Prenatal Massage
Our prenatal massage is specifically designed to help moms-to-be with the profound physical and mental changes associated with the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. We utilize a special maternity pillow set which allows mom to relax comfortably in a face-down position, thereby facilitating the release of tension on the back just as in Swedish massage. Special care is taken to avoid undue stimulation of reflex points, varicose veins and swollen tissues unique to the prenatal condition. If you are blessed with a pregnancy without discomforts, this treatment will deeply pamper and nurture you.
Our pregnancy massage is a professional service provided ONLY by specially trained therapists. Please consult your doctor before scheduling a massage. This service is only available for those in the second or third trimester and is one hour in length.
Hot Stone Massage
This is a deeply relaxing, soothing treatment combining the use of polished, heated river stones alternating with Swedish techniques. The stones are heated to the perfect temparature and used in a gliding motion to facilitate the release of nervous tension.
Reflexology
Reflexology, also known as zone therapy, is a scientific technique of applying pressure to reflexes that have a definite effect on the normal functioning of all parts of the body. The purpose of reflexology is to promote balance and normalization, to reduce tension, to revitalize, reactivate, regenerate, heal, and bring the whole system into harmony and a state of good health, naturally. Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a form of massage that stimulates the lymphatic system with gentle massaging strokes. The light rhythmical massage encourages the lymphatic system to eliminate metabolic waste products, excess fluid and bacteria. The technique was invented by massage therapists Dr Emil and Mrs. Estrid Vodder in the early 1930s. The effects of Manual Lymph Drainage are numerous and include general benefits to the nervous and muscular systems. MLD is a great addition to our Aloe/Seaweed Detox Body Wrap, as it encourages fluid flow in the connective tissues.
The lymphatic system is composed of lymph vessels, lymph nodes, and organs. Part of the body’s defense system, the lymph nodes remove microorganisms and other foreign substances. They act as a filtration system that keeps particulate matter, such as bacteria, from entering the bloodstream. Stimulating the lymphatic system through manual lymphatic drainage will activate all of the above functions as well as encourage fluid circulation and cell regeneration. Both actions promote detoxification, facilitate healing and support the immune system.

Airbrush Tanning
If you want a "bronzed" appearance but wisely wish to limit your sun exposure, let us apply a sunless self-tanner. Each client will experience an individual tanning shade that is in keeping with their own natural coloration and skin tones. Airbrush tans usually last 5-10 days depending on the condition of your skin and fades naturally.
Hydrating Body Polish
Refresh, exfoliate and mineralize your skin with a special mix of sea salts. You will receive a dry brush treatment before the application of our exfoliating mixture which will remove dead skin cells and thoroughly cleanse you. Hot Herbal Detox Wrap
The special blend of herbs used in this treatment aide the body in releasing toxins, impurities and excess fluid.
